RENEGADE COMEDY THEATRE
Renegade Comedy Theatre is one of the Northland's Premiere professional theatrical companies. Since the theatre's founding in 1991, Renegade has produced over 150 productions throughout the area. Now in their permanent home at the Teatro Zuccone, Renegade annually produces a full mainstage season, a children's theatre season through their Tugboat Children's Theatre, as well as special events, sketch comedy revues and improv performances. While their focus has been, and will continue to be making audiences laugh, Renegade is expanding their mission to include works from all genres of theatre. In addition, future plans include a partnership with the Shakespeare in the Schools program, the creation of an Improvisation Comedy training facility, and taking an active leadership role in Duluth/Superior's burgeoning arts community by producing bold, high-quality productions that enriches, enlightens and, above all, entertains.
